How MalaPick works, and where to write when something goes wrong.

How to use it

1. Log the bowl after you eat

Tap “Record” and pick what went in. Ingredients are chosen by tapping the illustration. If this bowl was close to your last one, start from the previous bowl and change only what differs.

2. Tag them ◎ △ ×

Go through what you picked and mark each one “add again”, “not sure” or “skip it”. You can save without tagging anything.

3. Open it at the next counter

Home shows your next-time notes and your last bowl first. That is the screen to order from.

Common questions

I bought ad removal but ads are still showing

Try “Restore purchase” in Settings, and check that you are signed in to the App Store with the same Apple Account you bought it with.

I changed phones and my records are gone

Records live only on the device, so this version cannot carry them across. Sorry — it is a real limitation, and it is on the list.

I cannot find an ingredient

Try search and the category filter on the Ingredients tab; the same item sometimes goes by another name. If it genuinely is not there, add it yourself under custom ingredients — and please tell us, so it can go into the built-in set.

I want to delete a record

Open the record from History and choose “Delete this record.” To remove all on-device data, delete the MalaPick app.

The app crashes or behaves oddly

Please include the following when you write in. It makes the cause much faster to find.

• Your iPhone model and iOS version
• The MalaPick version (shown at the bottom of Settings)
• Which screen you were on and what you were doing

Requirements

• iPhone, iOS 18 or later
• Languages: English, 日本語, 한국어, 简体中文, 繁體中文
• Works offline: logging, rating and browsing

Known limitations

• No sync or transfer between devices.
• No per-restaurant records and no restaurant database. Ratings are your own taste, the same everywhere.
• No automatic ingredient recognition.
• Not optimised for iPad or Mac.
